Safeclean are rug cleaning specialists. The products we use are safe and we always check the entire rug for colour fastness. It is advisable to have your rugs cleaned every 18 months, but if they are in areas of heavy use, eg hallways or corridors, or you have pets, they may need cleaning more frequently.

• There are many types of rug. Some are machine made and mass-produced, others are rare, antique and very valuable. We will treat them all with the utmost care and attention.

• We clean your rug in situ if it’s a large rug, or, for smaller rugs, we can take them away and deliver them back, all as part of our service.

• All rugs are cleaned using the appropriate system from hand cleaning to the latest machine technologies.  We always use our unique organic cleaning products.

Rug Care Tips:

• Leave in the sun once a year with the back of the rug facing the sun to destroy harmful enzymes.

• Lightly Vacuum the back and front of the rug once a week – do not vacuum fringes.

• Beat the rug once a year over a washing line to remove dust and dirt.

• Turn regularly to ensure even wear.

• Comb or brush out fringes using a broad-tooth brush.

• Use protectors on furniture legs to protect the rug pile.
